We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-performance distributed systems, core data engines, and backend infrastructure.

Work in a team of top-of-the-line software engineers, developing state-of-the-art management systems for Cloud solutions managing mission-critical enterprise-level data platforms.

Work in a team of top-of-the-line software engineers, developing state-of-the-art management systems for managing mission-critical enterprise-level data platforms.

VAST Data’s management systems include:

  • A highly scalable platform featuring complex high-availability mechanisms, and advanced APIs, interoperable with a diverse software ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in server-side Python programming (at least 3 years), featuring: multi-threading, multi- processing, communication protocols, databases.
  • Background development of management systems or other kind of enterprise or cloud based high-scale systems
  • Proficient in Linux environment

Advantages:

  • Experience in development of network, storage, server or virtualization management systems — an advantage
