Principal Data Engineer

? Location: Dehradun / Remote

? Budget: Up to ₹40 LPA

⏳ Notice Period: 30 days or less; immediate joiners preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Data Engineer to design and drive enterprise-scale Data & Analytics solutions across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, Business Consultants and Product Owners to design and implement scalable data and analytics solutions.

  • Design conceptual, logical and physical data models
  • Drive GCP and Azure environment design and setup
  • Review solution architecture and technology selection
  • Mentor engineering, analytics and business teams
  • Advise on emerging cloud technologies
  • Participate in pre-sales engagements and PoCs
  • Contribute to technology strategy and thought leadership

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering multiple enterprise data and analytics solutions
  • Hands-on GCP + Azure implementation experience
  • Strong Python, SQL and Spark skills
  • Strong cloud data architecture background
  • Excellent client-facing communication
  • Ability to remain hands-on while providing technical leadership
  • Notice period of 30 days or less
