Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in FMCG. A professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile is considered advantageous.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the execution of high-impact strategic projects across the Sales & Distribution function. The role will ensure that strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve the intended business outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Driving the end-to-end delivery of strategic Sales & Distribution initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Establishing robust project governance, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and external partners, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Providing programme management support to the Sales & Distribution leadership team, including project reporting, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service, route-to-market effectiveness, and commercial performance through project delivery.
  • Leading change management activities to support successful implementation and adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Monitoring project outcomes, measuring business benefits, and embedding continuous improvement practices across the function.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor's degree: Business Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • A recognised Project Management qualification or certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) will be advantageous.
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Honours) will be an added advantage
  • At least 5 years project management experience preferably within FMCG
