Briefly Describe the Work
Global InfoTek, Inc. is recruiting a Data Scientist & Advanced Analytics Specialist to build high-throughput data pipelines and predictive modeling analytics. You will process large-scale multi-domain defense datasets, design data pipeline orchestration, and construct interactive decision-support dashboards to assist senior military leadership in technical portfolio planning and experimentation analysis.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics using Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R.
- Hands-on experience engineering big data pipelines using Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or Hadoop ecosystems.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Experience building interactive data visualization dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly/Dash).
- Ability to clean, fuse, and extract insights from structured and unstructured multi-source defense data.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) for automated document classification and entity extraction.
- Prior background supporting DoD R&D datasets, test range metrics, or intelligence analysis.
- Experience applying DevSecOps practices to data science workflows (DataOps/MLOps).
Relevant Certifications
DASCA Senior Data Scientist (SDS), AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Cloudera Certified
