Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with all teams involved in the solution delivery lifecycle, contributing to quality from requirements analysis through functional validation and release.
- Analyze requirements and specifications to identify relevant scenarios, business rules, quality risks, dependencies, and potential points of attention.
- Plan and execute functional, exploratory, regression, and integration testing, with a particular focus on mobile applications.
- Develop testing strategies, scenarios, and test cases covering different user journeys, business rules, edge cases, and exception flows.
- Perform API testing using Postman, validating requests, responses, business rules, integrations, and expected system behavior.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects while working closely with development and other stakeholders to ensure effective resolution.
- Support the execution, evolution, and maintenance of existing test automation initiatives.
- Assist with release planning, preparation, and monitoring, contributing to quality assessments and risk evaluation before deployments.
- Monitor deliveries and identify opportunities to improve quality processes, testing practices, and tools in order to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Promote quality best practices and contribute to the continuous evolution of software testing and validation processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or completed higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience with manual testing of mobile applications, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
- Knowledge of BDD, API testing, Postman, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and experience working within iterative software delivery environments.
- Knowledge of Jira and Xray for test management, issue tracking, and quality workflows.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to investigate problems, identify risks, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Collaborative, results-oriented profile with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with development and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with test automation is considered a valuable differentiator.
