Intealth is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer III/Architect to provide technical leadership and design scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that support critical business functions. This role will help establish Salesforce architecture and development standards while remaining actively involved in solution design, integration, deployments, and production support.
The Salesforce Developer III/Architect will lead architectural reviews and technical design sessions, evaluate technologies, mentor developers, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and business objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in complex Salesforce environments and can balance platform configuration, custom development, security, integrations, performance, and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and guide the technical architecture for enterprise Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and related platform capabilities.
- Lead architectural reviews, solution-design sessions, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design end-to-end Salesforce applications using enterprise architecture patterns.
- Develop integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems.
- Establish effective Salesforce data architecture, security models, and platform standards.
- Identify architectural risks and recommend improvements that strengthen performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead the adoption and improvement of Salesforce DX, source-driven development, DevOps practices, and automated deployments.
- Evaluate Salesforce platform upgrades and third-party applications available through AppExchange.
- Design automated document-generation solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical direction throughout the software-development lifecycle.
- Support production and non-production environments and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, story estimation, task breakdowns, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, product owners, Scrum masters, stakeholders, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Advanced Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, JavaScript, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Strong architecture and development experience within Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Expertise designing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, JSON, XML, asynchronous processing, and data-synchronization patterns.
- Experience with enterprise architecture patterns, including Service Layer, Domain Model, Model-View-Controller (MVC), and n-tier architecture.
- Salesforce data-modeling experience using lookup relationships, master-detail relationships, custom junction objects, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Security architecture experience using permission sets, permission set groups, sharing rules, field-level security, record-level security, roles, and profiles.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, TFS, CI/CD pipelines, and source-driven development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, platform performance, scalability, automated testing, code coverage, and technical-debt reduction.
- Knowledge of relational databases, normalization, ER diagrams, event-driven architecture, and data-warehouse strategies such as Heroku.

- Demonstrated experience defining technical architecture and building end-to-end Salesforce applications.
- Experience leading solution-design discussions, architectural reviews, and code reviews.
- Proven ability to mentor developers and establish technical standards and development best practices.
- Ability to balance Salesforce configuration and custom code when developing effective solutions.
- Experience supporting live production systems, resolving complex issues, and deploying production changes.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
