As leader in Belgium in the Corporate market, we have a complex landscape of processes and applications

The IT P&C Corporate Agreements & Financials team is responsible to provide and support mainly mainframe applications that handle corporate contracts

You will work as Senior Business Analyst in the P&C Corporate Agreements & Financials team where you will be fully assigned to activities related to projects & maintenance. With your business stakeholders, your role will be to define business requirements (including test cases), follow up the IT delivery and test the features delivered by our development team before handing over to business. You will be the point of contact for all Business Analyst to achieve reviews but also to provide guidelines on requirement delivery.

Your role

As senior business analyst in the P&C Corporate Agreements product team, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide guidelines on requirement templating but also functional content to other Business Analyst
  • Challenge solution with architecture on transversal projects
  • Be functional point of contact in the product team, with product lead but also business and other IT teams
  • Collect and write business requirements. Active role in requirements definition by being able to challenge business demands
  • Ensure the proper maturity of the requirements before passing them to the development team
  • Involve the testing team in the requirements phase to prepare the tests scenario's &/or prepare and perform tests yourself
  • Escalate delivery risks in due time and work on the resolution of defects/issues
  • Support the smooth transition from application project to maintenance by documenting the application(s)
  • A technical knowledge on Cobol language is a nice to have

Your profile

For this function as Senior Business Analyst, you are expected to:

  • Speak fluently French and English – Dutch is an asset
  • Own a Master degree or equivalent
  • Be stress resistant and result-oriented
  • Eager to learn
  • Experience in the role (min 5 years)
