Job Title: Senior Python Engineer - API Development

Location: Plano, TX

Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, or GC EAD preferred Locals highly preferred No C2C, 1099, or third-party profiles accepted.

We are seeking a Sr. Python Engineer with strong expertise in Python, API development, and AWS cloud-native technologies to design, build, and operate highly scalable and reliable backend services.

Required Skills

  • Strong

hands-on experience with Python backend development.

  • Experience

designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.

  • Strong

AWS experience with several of the following:

  • AWS

Lambda

  • API

Gateway

  • ECS/Fargate
  • EKS/Kubernetes
  • S3
  • EventBridge
  • SQS/SNS
  • RDS/Aurora
  • DynamoDB
  • ElastiCache/Redis
  • Experience

with Docker and containerized application deployment.

  • Experience

with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

  • Experience

developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong

understanding of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC, and cloud security.

  • Experience

with application monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.

  • Experience

with automated testing and software quality practices.

  • Strong

understanding of Git, code reviews, Agile development, and production support.

  • Strong

communication and technical problem-solving skills.
