Job Description:
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC Security Clearance which requires you to be a sole British national.
LOCATION: Newport, South Wales (with some hybrid working available subject to our Hybrid Working Policy)

It is an exciting time to join the DIGITAL Team. Working in DIGITAL means living global trends such as digitalization, innovation, and new ways of working. Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an ERP Service and Project Manager to join our diverse team in Newport.
You will become part of the international ERP Competence & Delivery Centre team, taking charge of ERP systems (on-premise and cloud-based). Acting as the UK focal point, you will bridge functional business processes with technical capabilities to drive our technological roadmap forward.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Act as the Service Manager and UK focal point for the SAP ECC on-premise system, coordinating stakeholders to ensure service quality and end-user satisfaction.
- Lead and drive international projects and internal initiatives across our ERP landscapes, including SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, and connected Cloud instances.
- Identify areas for business process improvement, maintain system functionalities, and drive landscape evolution in line with our ambitious ERP Roadmap.
- Provide specialist technical advice covering scoping, development, deployment, and Change Management, while proactively mitigating system obsolescence.
- Coordinate project teams, moderate effective workshops, and manage subcontractor resources to achieve project deliverables efficiently.
- Ensure all activities strictly adhere to UK and international regulations, IT Security guidelines, and internal Project Management standards.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience of mastering SAP ERP solutions (including SAP S/4 HANA) and leading project management within complex SAP ERP landscapes.
- Educated to degree level in Information Systems Technology, Business Administration, or a similar field (relevant Project Management and Change Management certifications are advantageous).
- Experience of working and communicating effectively within diverse, international, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver hands-on, solution-oriented results.
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are beneficial), with the adaptability to thrive in an evolving environment and a willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
