About the Role

Torus is hiring a NetSuite Business Analyst to join our NetSuite Team in building operational excellence into our ERP platform. This role focuses on the critical “last mile” work including documentation, training, data governance, and user enablement. Your work ensures NetSuite implementations are fully adopted and maintained. We’re looking for someone with hands-on NetSuite experience who brings real strength in either: accounting and revenue recognition (OneWorld, billing, ASC 606/842) or preferably inventory/manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate thrives on creating order from ambiguity, communicates effectively across all levels of the organization, and takes pride in building sustainable processes that scale with our growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for NetSuite configurations, business processes, and SOPs.
  • Monitor and improve data quality across transactions, items, BOMs, and master records.
  • Help troubleshoot issues in OneWorld/revenue recognition OR inventory/manufacturing.
  • Develop and deliver user training programs and coordinate UAT activities for new features.
  • Support users with day-to-day NetSuite questions and system guidance.
  • Maintain and optimize NetSuite forms, saved searches, dashboards, and reports.
  • Manage the NetSuite enhancement backlog, intake process, and release communications.
  • Gather business requirements and configure NetSuite elements including custom fields, forms, and workflows.
  • Partner with other members of the NetSuite Team to implement and refine solutions.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Experience

  • 2–4+ years working with NetSuite in an Administrator, Business Analyst, or similar hands-on role.
  • Strong experience with NetSuite configuration including saved searches, custom fields, forms, and reports.
  • Demonstrated excellence in creating documentation, SOPs, or process guides for business systems.
  • Experience developing and delivering user training or leading system adoption initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset and commitment to data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business users.
  • Self-directed problem-solver who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

We’d love to see real strength in one or more of these areas:

  • Experience with NetSuite OneWorld in a multi-subsidiary environment, specifically with applied revenue recognition and billing knowledge (ASC 606/842, subscription or usage-based billing).
  • Hands-on NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) or SuiteBilling configuration experience, including usage-based/metered or SaaS/HaaS billing models.
  • Familiarity with order-to-cash processes in NetSuite: sales order through fulfillment, invoicing, and cash application; and how billing/rev-rec configuration connects to each step.
  • Familiarity with lease/equipment-financing systems (e.g., NetLessor/NetGain).
  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory-heavy business environments (BOMs, WIP, production transactions).
  • Understanding of NetSuite integrations and middleware platforms.
  • Experience with FP&A or planning-and-budgeting systems (e.g., NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, Adaptive Planning, Vena).
  • Experience with change management, process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or similar certification.
  • Experience with NetSuite Field Service Management (FSM) and/or Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules.
