The Senior Analyst – Data Science serves as the global demand for the Descriptive Analytics workstream within the Health & Benefits (H&B) Global Data Center of Excellence (COE). This role drives innovation through the design, strategy, and automation of data science and advanced analytics solutions that enable global H&B teams to deliver rapid, insight-driven client reporting. The specialist will act as the intellectual capital catalyst connecting local teams, enhancing global efficiency, and supporting strategic client engagements related to retention and acquisition.
The role:
- Execute the strategy, operating model, and execution framework for the Descriptive Analytics workstream as defined by the COE leadership.
- Serve as global SME—aid in the definition of methodology standards, quality assurance, and scalability plans for future team expansion.
- Represent the COE in global leadership forums to communicate progress toward WTW’s vision of becoming an AI-powered broker.
- Develop and deploy advanced analytics and data science solutions leveraging descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models.
- Lead statistical modeling, data preparation, and automation using Python, SQL, Power BI,
and related tools.
- Create visual, interactive reporting products with clear data storytelling that supports decision
intelligence at all levels.
- Interface regularly with local H&B teams including executive sponsors and local analysts.
- Partner with predictive/prescriptive analytics leads to align methodologies and integrate outputs.
- Collaborate with technical data teams to refine and enhance processed data assets.
- Present analytic work effectively to senior leadership and occasionally to clients alongside consultants.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering
- Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar analytics or data science role.
- Professional-level English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced proficiency in:
o Python o SQLUpdated: November 2025 o Power BI o Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
