Job Title: Salesforce Engineering Manager

Location: Nottingham - Hybrid

Working Pattern: 3 days in-office (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote.

You and the Role

Working in and across tech teams is a natural part of our outcome-based culture, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to talk, coach and learn with many great and diverse individuals.

Please apply if you are keen to work with the following technology stack. You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas; we are primarily looking for excellent problem solvers with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Salesforce Service Cloud Platform, designing, developing, and integrating enterprise software features

• CI/CD solutions at scale, enhancing delivery pipelines and automation to solve enterprise-level challenges

• High availability systems, maintaining platform service, proactive incident response, and permanent problem resolution

• Reusable patterns & standards, ensuring owned solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and highly reliable

• Certifications in Salesforce Administration and Salesforce Platform Developer 1 are essential. A certification in Salesforce Application Architecture is desirable.

• You have demonstrable experience in leading, coaching, and supporting an engineering team to achieve business and personal goals

• You possess empathy and a deep understanding of the day-to-day technical and delivery challenges developers face

• You are comfortable striking technical trade-offs between short-term delivery needs and long-term strategic business goals

• You are passionate about recruiting, nurturing, and developing exceptional engineering talent

• You advocate for inner-sourcing and cross-engineering collaboration to maximise shared learnings and reduce waste

• You enjoy identifying value-based intent to deliver on defined outcome team objectives and product roadmaps

• You thrive when solving real-world problems in a complex, regulated environment

• You enjoy hybrid working, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in our bright offices

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office.

We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday-Thursday), with Monday and Friday being dedicated work-from-home days.
