Role: Senior Data Analyst - Insurance Analytics

Duration: Permanent - Full Time

Shift: 2:30PM - 11:45PM

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai MH

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a growing analytics team supporting insurance and reinsurance programs across multiple markets and business lines.

What you’ll do:

• Work with internal stakeholders and clients to understand data requirements

• Analyse trends across claims, loss ratios, market performance, and other key insurance metrics

• Build and improve data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools

• Create dashboards and analytical tools to support business decisions

• Strengthen data quality checks to improve accuracy and completeness

• Support and enhance data models for reporting and analytics

• Contribute to scalable data architecture aligned with business and client needs

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Around 5+ years of experience in data analytics & stakeholder/client management

• Prior experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry

• Strong skills in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel

• Experience with data modelling and data warehouse environments

• Exposure to Azure tools is preferred

• Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
