Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-performing, and successful software engineering team(s).
  • Attract top engineering talent.
  • Deliver secure, and high-quality software aligned with ECS strategy and product roadmaps.
  • Provide guidance to multiple agile teams, ensuring adherence to best-practice software development principles.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners on technology roadmaps to achieve our goals and maintain a sustainable platform.
  • Develop and implement new approaches for efficient delivery.
  • Improve programs within your responsibilities.
  • Manage team performance and development, encouraging a team culture.
  • Increase engagement through regular, transparent feedback and appropriate recognition.
  • Ensure the security posture of products and services under your responsibility remains compliant.

Qualifications

 

  • 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience building mission-critical, high-volume transaction web-based software systems.
  • Expertise in .NET and React, with knowledge of microservice architecture delivered on .NET Core, Node.js, and React.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as CloudFront, S3, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and, and cloud development using AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling like Jira, Mural, and Confluence.
  • Full-stack development experience, including unit testing and acceptance test automation.
  • Experience developing Flutter applications for iOS and Android.
  • Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software analytics.
  • We prefer AWS certification.
  • Responsible for daily team performance and talent acquisition.
  • Experience managing Agile teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Technically lead teams, handle performance management, and ensure deliveries.
  • Who can navigate complex technical scenarios and lead solutions through collaboration.
  • Experience working with diverse teams across multiple locations and technologies.
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating system documentation Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues and delegate.
  • Experience ensuring that code meets all functionality and acceptance criteria and ability to assess possible effects of technical findings.
  • Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments to new technologies and continuous improvement mindset.
