Description
ACE Consulting Group is seeking a Journeyman Engineer to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Engineer will provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case support to one of our NAVAIR PMX customers.
The Journeyman Engineer will support the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. With other members of the Security Cooperation team, and under the direction of the Case Manager/Program Manager/Team Lead, assists the Case Manager in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating and hosting SAR Board meetings.
- Supporting ICWG meetings and following up on action items: Developing an agenda of topics in preparation for the meeting; Creating decision memos that derive from the ICWG.
- Processing and formatting Requests for Tests (RFT) for the engineering team: Maintaining the tracker and coordinating outbrief for completed tests; Following up on actions that are recorded during the Test Integration Meeting
- Processing and formatting Engineering Memos for the Engineering team.
- Maintaining the Technical Exchange Request (TER) tracker and following up to document closure.
- Following up on Hazard Reports (HAZREPS) to get responses from the program office to determine a satisfactory path forward: Processing memos that contain an official response to documented hazards.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Three (3) to ten (10) years of relevant experience and an ASc degree in engineering or STEM discipline. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties under the supervision of a senior engineer.
SECURITY: Secret clearance is required for the position. Security Clearance level obtainable after assignment to position is acceptable.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Position involves travel (both CONUS and OCONUS) as required by the needs of the program.
