Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst is the operational finance partner to multi-site business units, pairing FP&A rigor with hands-on process improvement. The role analyzes operational workflows to surface inefficiencies, supports business unit managers and regional VPs on budgets, forecasts, and cost savings initiatives, and builds the dashboards, KPIs, and reporting that drive key decisions. Success requires close collaboration with operational partners — including on-site visits — deep expertise in the processes and systems behind assigned functions, and coordination with Corporate FP&A and Accounting through close.

Essential Functions

  • (Perform comprehensive analysis of multi-site business units' operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process enhancement.
  • Support and partner with business unit managers and regional VPs in all things operational analytics, inclusive of preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cost savings initiatives.
  • Build, develop, and maintain dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions by delivering reports and insights analyzing business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operational processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets and standards are met.
  • Prepare detailed operational reports and presentations, summarizing key findings, improvements, and recommendations.
  • Establish strong relationships and regularly spend time collaborating with operational partners for assigned functional areas.
  • Become a subject matter expert for all business processes and technology solutions used to run key areas of assigned business functions.
  • Partner with Corporate FP&A to provide support and insights, learn from colleagues, and maintain consistency of practice while delivering to internal customers' requirements.
  • Partner with Corporate FP&A and Accounting during close.
  • Perform on-site business unit visits.
  • Act as the authoritative voice in defining business outcomes.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, Adaptive, and Microsoft tools a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • MBA/CPA a plus
  • 3–5 years in FP&A, Analytics, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or related area
  • Experience in finance operations within a multi-site organization a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges
  • Moderate to Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets, data analysis, reporting, and utilizing software tools for process improvement
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ethical and professional behavior, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity

Working Environment:

  • Hybrid: Monday-Thursday on-site in our Irving, TX headquarters; Friday WFH
  • There are no special physical requirements for this position.

Salary: $98,000-100,000
