About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong technical expertise and at least 7 years of professional experience designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software applications and systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of software solutions, driving technical improvements, and contributing to the design and implementation of scalable applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define technical requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive technical professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, staying up to date with emerging technologies, and helping teams achieve technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, design, development, debugging, and implementation of new software products, features, and enhancements.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications and software components.
  • Develop solutions for cloud-based, networked, and web applications.
  • Lead and contribute to complex software development projects, including end-user applications and technology platforms.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, implementing effective and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and define necessary system improvements.
  • Participate in project estimation, technical planning, and resource allocation.
  • Promote best practices in software development, code quality, testing, and application performance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and new approaches when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development or a related field.
  • Strong experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Angular 16+.
  • Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong programming, problem-solving, debugging, and software design skills.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset, adaptability, and willingness to continuously expand technical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jira for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Harness and CI/CD practices.
  • Backend development experience with Node.js frameworks such as NestJS, Restify, or Express.
  • Experience with Splunk for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
