Member Technical Staff (UI Developer or Full Stack- React.JS, Java)

Model N, India is looking for a Member Technical Staff (UI/ Ful Stack) for its Platform Development teams. Job Responsibilities

• Build reusable framework UI components with ReactJS and modern web technologies to be used by multiple applications.

• Work closely with our UX team, technical and product teams to deliver high quality UI

• Develop high quality code with comprehensive unit testing.

• Develop responsive web applications that work well across multiple devices

• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

• Move fast on SaaS products as part of a platform team that practices rapid iteration.

• Stay up-to-date on technical options, help select the right technology for each task and always look to improve code, styles and best practices.

• Build and integrate AI-powered UI features including intelligent search, autocomplete, code suggestions, and real-time recommendations using LLM APIs.

• Evaluate and optimize the performance of LLM-integrated features, including token optimization, caching strategies, and streaming response handling.

Job Qualification

• 2+ years of software development experience in web applications and UI/UX, using modern frameworks.

• Good coding experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Sass / LESS), ReactJS, TypeScript, and other open source js libraries.

• Experience with open-source and/or commercial widget libraries and customizing/building components.

• Good understanding of HTML5 specifications, especially around Web Components, Shadow DOM and implementation across 3rd party libraries & frameworks.

• Experience setting up the infrastructure for web development, including build frameworks using tools like Gulp or Webpack, bundle analysis and bundling optimization techniques

• Fair understanding of mid-tier technologies like Nodejs, Java (Spring/ Spring Boot) and database systems, largely from an integration perspective.

• Good understanding of HTTP protocol (Request/Response models) and working experience with RESTful services.

• Good understanding and hands on experience with UI/JS Testing and Automation.

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Computers

AI & LLM Skills (Preferred)

• Understanding of LLM (Large Language Model) concepts and their practical applications in frontend UI - prompt engineering, token management, and API integration patterns.

• Experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) into React/JavaScript applications with proper error handling and fallback strategies.

• Knowledge of streaming response handling from LLM endpoints and real-time UI updates using techniques like Server-Sent Events (SSE) or WebSockets.

• Familiarity with implementing intelligent features like autocomplete, search suggestions, code generation helpers, and content summarization using LLMs.

• Understanding of caching strategies and optimization techniques to reduce API calls and improve performance in AI-powered features.

• Knowledge of security best practices for handling AI API keys, managing rate limits, and ensuring data privacy when using third-party LLM services.

• Experience with prompt engineering and understanding how UI context shapes prompts for better AI-generated outputs.

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and IDEs (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT plugins, Claude for code review, etc.).
