THE ROLE
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our Project Development team in Madrid. You will be supporting senior staff in delivering project management services on projects including stadiums, arenas, training centres and other sports and entertainment venues. You’ll be expected to take ownership of tasks, manage stakeholders, and help drive projects from concept through to completion.
The successful candidate must demonstrate availability and willingness to travel as necessary to effectively perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the management of construction projects, including developing project delivery strategies, procuring consultants and contractors, contract administration, keeping cost schedules up to date, preparing Project Execution Plans, preparing and managing programmes, preparing and managing risk registers, administering change control processes, chairing and taking minutes of meetings and all other duties reasonably expected of a Senior Project Manager.
- Build close relationships with the Legends clients you work with. At all times be pro-active and keep our clients informed of the status of their projects and any issues (and solutions) as they arise.
- Manage junior staff allocated to the projects you manage. To mentor them and make efficient use of their time, whilst helping to develop their project management skills.
- Represent Legends Global with professionalism, positivity, and energy in all client and consultant interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· 8+ years of project management experience in the real estate/construction sector
· Degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of tasks
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience with stakeholder management and leading design or site meetings
· Experience in preparing and managing logic linked time schedules
· Excellent communication skills in English
· Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus
Essential Skills:
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Experience working on high-pressure or quick-turnaround projects
· Strong reporting and upward communication skills
· A collaborative mindset and positive attitude
