Reporting to the VP Financial Accounting and Treasury, the Financial Analyst will work closely with the accounting staff and Management teams within both the Hospitality and Real Estate divisions within Armour Group.
As a Financial Analyst, you’ll get to:
- Prepare timely and accurate journal entries as required in completing the day-to-day accounting and financial month-end close process
- Perform account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of cost allocation
- Work closely with sales, reservations and front desk, and provide support to resolve billing and payment issues in timely manner and maintenance customer service satisfaction
- Prepare and analyze working papers and financial results for corporate administration and internal service organizations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for hotels, corporate administration and internal service organization and review these reports with each department head.
- Assist with activities related to the year-end audit and annual budget
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to partnering with department leaders in the Hospitality division
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong analytical thinker who operates with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct or Yardi accounting software, considered an asset
- University degree or technical diploma with a focus in finance or accounting
- Minimum 2-3 years related experience.
