The Product Manager will provide regional technical and commercial leadership to drive business growth and innovation in flame retardant technologies. They are responsible for managing the regional portfolio, developing strategic partnerships, and accelerating solution adoption across key accounts in the Asia Pacific region.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide Regional Technical & Commercial Leadership by serving as the subject matter expert in flame retardant technologies, formulation development, fire safety standards, regulatory compliance, and application engineering, translating technical capabilities into customer value and business opportunities.
- Drive Solution-Based Business Growth by partnering with principals, customers, and country sales teams to develop and commercialize flame retardant solutions, expand into new applications and markets, and accelerate portfolio growth across Asia Pacific.
- Lead Portfolio Strategy & Profitability for the regional flame retardants portfolio, including ATO, ATH, Synthetic MDH, Brucite, Zinc Borate, phosphorus-based and brominated flame retardants, delivering sustainable growth, margin expansion, and market share gains.
- Drive Key Customer Development & Innovation Projects by working closely with customers, principals, and sales teams to accelerate project qualification, solution adoption, and commercialization across strategic accounts.
- Lead Principal Management & Strategic Partnerships through business planning, supplier engagement, product commercialization, contract management, and long-term growth initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 8-15 years of experience in flame retardants, polymer, compounds, plastic, or related industries.
- Experience working with principals, compounders, OEMs, distributors, and converters in the flame retardants value chain.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong technical knowledge of flame retardant formulation and application development across various polymer systems, including Polyolefins (PE, PP), EVA, XLPE, PVC, Engineering Plastics (PA, PBT, PET, PC/ABS), TPE, Rubber, and Coatings, with the ability to optimize fire performance, mechanical properties, processability, cost, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong techno-commercial capability to develop and commercialize application-specific flame-retardant solutions, leveraging market insights, customer requirements, and product management expertise to drive innovation, business development, portfolio growth, and profitable market expansion across Asia Pacific.
