Location: Eglin AFB, FL – On-site

Position Summary

Teksouth is seeking a JOCAS Functional Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in a client-facing role within a Financial Management environment. This position focuses on application design, administration, and maintenance in support of Research Development and Testing Fund execution utilizing the Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS).

The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing enterprise applications, automating business processes, and delivering data-driven insights through reporting and analytics. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to support mission-critical financial systems, with a focus on developing code and maintaining the Job Order Cost Accounting System.

Responsibilities

  • Support modernization efforts, including migration from SQL Servers, leveraging custom development and integration solutions
  • Perform application administration and ongoing system maintenance
  • Provide JOCAS data to develop dashboards, reports, and data analytics solutions
  • Provide functional support, training, and user guidance
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation and user guides
  • Support JOCAS functionality within a financial management environment
  • Collaborate with IT and functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Write Code within JOCAS to assist with producing data to pull into FM Data Analytical Tools
  • Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities as required

Skills Required

  • Active Secret clearance required
  • 7+ years of experience designing and developing solutions to complex application problems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of application development, system integration, and data analytics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a client-facing environment
