JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst & Report Writer position interprets data and creates reports to suit Bennington’s business needs, as well as assists with the migration of reports into Power BI. This position requires the ability to solve complex problems, effective communication at all levels of the organization, and a customer service mindset.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Collaborate with team to develop reports as defined by business needs
· Assist with conversion of existing reports to Microsoft Power BI
· Analyze data from existing ERP and assist in cleanup process for data loads
· Cooperate across departments to improve user interaction with existing reports
· Standardize and document code responsible for generating reports
Qualifications
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred, or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education
· 1-2 years of data analytics or report writing preferred
· Familiarity with Business analytics software and data structures. Power BI, QlikView, and/or MS SQL preferred
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products
· Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, results-oriented and self-driven
· Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally
· Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
· Effective negotiation, and problem-solving skills
