Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines to support Data Warehouse and analytics platforms.
  • Build and optimize data integration processes, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Automate development and deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines, managing releases across multiple environments.
  • Design and implement robust data models and architectures, following Data Engineering and Business Intelligence best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions.
  • Support and empower end users working with Dataiku and Tableau, promoting adoption and best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data processing workflows and platform performance.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or PySpark.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions and data architectures.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and performance optimization principles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Apache NiFi, Dataiku, and/or Tableau.
  • Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of Credit Risk, Risk Management, or Regulatory Reporting.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and tools such as JIRA.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
