About the company
Asseti is the category-defining platform for asset intelligence and operations, used by some of the world's largest real estate owners to understand their assets, optimise portfolio performance, and make smarter operational, maintenance, and capital decisions.
We turn complex, fragmented asset information into a single source of truth, combining real-time condition insights with the operational context needed to prioritise work, manage risk, and act efficiently across large property networks.
Asseti automates condition detection, triage, repair prioritisation, and cost forecasting at scale. We streamline asset operations by enabling teams to identify issues, understand impact, coordinate responses, and measure improvement, all within one unified platform.
We are building the operational backbone that helps leading organisations run their assets with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
The opportunity
Asseti holds something very few companies do. Thousands of sites, millions of components, condition tracked over time, with the same assets measured again and again as they change.
The interesting work is what we build on top of it.
This role is about taking what we already know about a portfolio and turning it into decisions people act on, work that gets done, and money spent in the right place. Same data, far more value, and a customer who runs more of their operation through Asseti every quarter.
It is early, it moves fast, and the line between what you ship and what customers do differently the following week is very short.
What you will do
This is a hands on product role. You will spend your time with customers, with engineers, and in the product itself. We expect you to build with AI, not just ship it: prototypes, throwaway tools, analysis, whatever gets you to an answer faster than another document would.
- Own discovery, prioritisation, and roadmap delivery for your product area, building an evidence-based roadmap from customer, user, and business needs.
- Articulate clear problem statements and specifications engineers can build from directly, finding the right solution with engineering rather than ahead of it.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design and GTM through delivery: surface risks early, make pragmatic scope trade-offs, and take shipped work through measurement and iteration.
- Own the outcome, not the release. Define success before you build, then follow through on enablement and adoption until customers work differently.
What you will bring
- 3+ years as a Product Manager on B2B software. If you have 2 and can show us what you have shipped and the outcome it produced, apply anyway.
- High agency. You have delivered real outcomes in environments where nobody handed you a process. You find the answer rather than waiting for it.
- AI-first in how you work. You use AI tools daily to prototype, analyse, and move faster, and you can show us specific examples of what you have built with them.
- Customer obsession. You run your own interviews, sit with users, and are the person on the team who has actually spoken to a customer this week.
- Systems thinking. You can hold how the pieces connect in your head, and you notice when a change in one place quietly breaks something in another.
- Data driven. You define metrics before you build, you know your way around product analytics, and you can query and interrogate data yourself rather than asking someone else for a chart.
- Comfort working deeply with engineers on system design and technical trade-offs.
Bonus points for
- Experience building for operational personas: facilities management, property operations, maintenance, construction, field services, or logistics.
- Experience turning large or complex datasets into something non-technical users act on.
- Familiarity with ERP, CMMS, or facilities management platforms.
- Experience with spatial or geospatial data.
High-impact role at the heart of customer outcomes. You will be one of the first joiners in our product and design team in Sydney, so you will help shape how we work and how we solve customer problems in a forward thinking and dynamic team. Come and make your mark. Competitive compensation and equity participation in a high-growth company.
