As a Senior QA Engineer, you will join our Payments team, responsible for managing payment processing systems that integrate multiple microservices and connect with various external systems. This backend is crucial for ensuring smooth and secure financial transactions and requires robust testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Review business and technical requirements and design tests accordingly
  • Conduct tests from both a business and technical perspective
  • Perform API testing for backend services
  • Perform integration testing
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholder teams to ensure seamless system integrations
  • Gather and document test results and information needed to understand potential risks
  • Analyze logs to localize and investigate issues

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of software testing techniques and test case design principles
  • Understanding of REST API, HTTP, JSON, SQL, and GraphQL
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
  • Web and mobile application testing experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments
  • Prior experience in payment processing or testing of complex backend applications is a plus
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
