Our client is an e-commerce agency focused exclusively on subscription CPG brands across food, beverage, supplements, and health & wellness.
Role Overview: We're looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to own the reliability, quality, and integrity of our technical systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and implement reliable fixes.
- Build and maintain automation, alerting, and observability systems to reduce manual work.
- Manage data integrity across CRM, customer portal, product analytics, payments, and support tools.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, synchronization issues, and integration failures.
- Develop and maintain automated QA and testing workflows.
- Build dashboards and reporting that enable non-technical teams to self-serve key information.
- Use AWS, Terraform, Datadog, and testing frameworks to maintain reliable technical infrastructure.
- Identify recurring technical problems and automate or improve processes to prevent them.
- Use AI tools as part of daily technical workflows while validating their outputs and decisions.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- More than +5 years of experience in at least two of the following: SRE/DevOps or Technical Support.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Datadog or comparable monitoring/observability tools.
- Experience with Cypress or another automated testing framework.
- Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
- Strong ability to write and troubleshoot SQL and NoSQL queries; MongoDB is a plus.
- Experience maintaining data quality and synchronization across CRM, payments, support, or other business systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident-response skills.
- Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate technical problem-solving and development.
- Comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous technical problems with minimal supervision.
