Full description

Enervia LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the financial, contractual, and operational performance of utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

The Project Manager serves as the business and commercial leader of assigned projects, managing projects from turnover through final closeout. This position works closely with Construction Management and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, Cost-to-Complete, WIP, cash flow, and billing.
  • Monitor project costs, labor productivity, installed quantities, equipment utilization, and overall production performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project forecasts and identify financial or operational risks early.
  • Partner with Construction Management to develop production plans, monitor schedules, and address performance issues.
  • Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, material deliveries, and long-lead equipment.
  • Manage project contracts, RFIs, change orders, and commercial correspondence.
  • Price and negotiate owner and subcontractor change orders.
  • Lead client progress meetings and provide clear financial, production, and schedule updates.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Safety, Accounting, and executive leadership.
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, recovery planning, and final closeout.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while protecting Enervia’s financial and contractual interests.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in utility-scale Solar, BESS, Substation, Heavy Electrical, or similar construction.
  • Strong electrical construction knowledge and experience.
  • Proven experience with project budgeting, forecasting, Cost-to-Complete, WIP, and financial management.
  • Experience managing production, labor productivity, project schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Experience pricing and negotiating change orders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Experience

Experience with utility-scale Solar EPC, BESS, substations, high-voltage electrical systems, self-performing contractors, and projects exceeding $20 million is strongly preferred.

Experience with Foundation Software, Procore, and/or HeavyBid is a plus.

The successful Project Manager will be financially disciplined, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both field teams and executive leadership. Success will be measured through project profitability, forecast accuracy, production and schedule performance, change order recovery, billing and cash flow, client satisfaction, and timely project closeout.
