The DevOps Developer will contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and application configuration. • Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to support application development, deployment, and ongoing operations.
  • Support and maintain application environments across Windows and Mac platforms.
  • Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, deployment, and environment-related issues.
  • Support databases and data stores, including configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance considerations.
  • Contribute to reliability, observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery practices, including tracking system health and understanding where potential issues or risks may arise.
  • Support application updates and, where required, contribute to application code and configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with developers, technical stakeholders, and senior technical resources to improve development and deployment processes.
  • Participate in deployments, maintenance, and occasional after-hours support when required.

Required Experience

  • Experience working across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Practical understanding of reliability, observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues across application, infrastructure, deployment, and development environments.
  • Ability to work independently on day-to-day technical activities while knowing when to collaborate with or escalate to more senior technical resources.
  • Solid understanding of software development and deployment processes across the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and the ability to understand and work within Azure environments.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or MVC application development frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of application and cloud security principles, including authentication, authorization, access controls, and SAML/SSO.
  • Working knowledge of Python, APIs, and web services, with an understanding of how they support automation, application integration, and DevOps processes.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to application code.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and experience using AI-powered tools to support software development, automation, or DevOps workflows is an asset.
