Project Manager

What this job involves:

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Project Manager to join a progressive Financial Services account at JLL. In this role, you will lead multiple projects simultaneously across varying stages of development, helping clients achieve critical business objectives while delivering exceptional project outcomes related to schedule, budget, quality, and speed to market.

The role requires a proactive professional who can confidently manage complex stakeholder relationships, oversee project financials, and drive accountability from initiation through closeout. Working closely with contractors, client teams, architects and vendors, you will help shape a better world by delivering innovative workplace and banking projects that support evolving commercial real estate needs in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage multiple projects across various locations and phases, including planning, design, permitting, construction, and financial closeout.
  • Oversee a range of project types including tenant improvements, retail banking upgrades, security enhancements, signage, ADA improvements, ATM installations, decommissions, and major renovations.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, furniture dealers, property management professionals, brokers, environmental consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting requirements to ensure projects remain aligned with client expectations and established goals.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and maintain accurate reporting within client project management platforms and web-based tools.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans while ensuring compliance with established work authorization and safety procedures within critical environments.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including charters, due diligence reports, schedules, meeting minutes, funding requests, status reports, and punch lists.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure all contractors and consultants comply with project standards, policies, procedures, and closeout requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of collaboration locally and across the globe.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience across design, construction, and project delivery environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate fast-paced project environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as required by project and client needs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Professional certification in Project Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
  • Experience supporting Financial Services clients, tenant improvement projects, or retail banking environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based project management applications.
  • LEED Accreditation or familiarity with sustainable building practices.
  • Experience managing projects within occupied or mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of construction permitting, compliance, and regulatory processes.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support operational excellence initiatives.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and delivering high-quality client experiences.
