Full description

We are looking for a motivated Technical Writer to join our team and contribute to the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in developing user-focused content, collaborating with subject matter experts, and supporting the delivery of clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for complex technologies and solutions.

The ideal candidate should have some notions of technical communication principles, structured writing practices, and modern documentation tools. You will work both independently and collaboratively with engineering, product, and support teams to gather information, create and update technical content, participate in content reviews, and identify opportunities to improve documentation quality, usability, and efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, and excellent English writing skills.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation for software and hardware products, tools, and processes.
  • Create clear and accurate user guides, online help, knowledge base articles, release notes, and other technical content.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather and validate technical information.
  • Participate actively in the complete documentation lifecycle, including:• Requirements gathering and audience analysis
  • Content planning and information architecture
  • Content creation and editing
  • Review and validation
  • Publication and maintenance
  • Ensure documentation aligns with company standards, style guides, and quality requirements.
  • Participate in content reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality documentation experience.
  • Contribute to discussions on documentation strategy, usability, and content improvements.
  • Help improve documentation processes, authoring tools, and content management practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance content quality, accessibility, and user experience while balancing project priorities and business needs.
  • Support the adoption of documentation best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Preferable (but not a must) with a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Some understanding of telecommunications, software and hardware principles.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
