This is a senior-level opportunity for an Android developer focused on building high-quality native mobile experiences. You will develop scalable applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and clean architecture principles. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical ownership across the full delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to reusable design systems, API integrations, testing strategies, and continuous delivery practices. Collaboration, autonomy, analytical thinking, and clear communication are essential in this environment. Accountabilities
- Develop and evolve native Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and clean architecture principles, ensuring maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Build intuitive user interfaces while leveraging reusable components from established Design Systems to maintain consistency across digital experiences.
- Implement and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, including solutions using Apollo, while following sound engineering and integration practices.
- Apply dependency injection patterns using technologies such as Hilt, Dagger, or Koin to promote modularity and maintainability.
- Contribute throughout the complete software delivery lifecycle, from development and testing through integration and deployment.
- Develop and maintain unit and instrumented tests, supporting reliable releases and high standards of software quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD practices and continuous improvement of development workflows.
- Demonstrate technical ownership, proactively identifying issues and proposing effective, creative solutions in changing environments.
- Collaborate closely with other professionals, sharing knowledge, influencing technical decisions, and contributing positively to the team's development practices.
- Maintain attention to detail and continuously apply clean code, scalability, documentation, and other software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience in Android development, with strong hands-on knowledge of Kotlin.
- Practical experience building Android interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture and modern Android development practices.
- Familiarity with dependency injection using Hilt, Dagger, or Koin.
- Experience or practical knowledge integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, including Apollo.
- General understanding of CI/CD concepts and development pipelines.
- Familiarity with reusable components and patterns within a Design System.
- Experience with unit and instrumented testing for Android applications.
- General understanding of Semantic Versioning (SemVer).
- Strong analytical thinking, clear and objective communication, and a collaborative approach.
- Proactive mindset, autonomy, technical accountability, and the ability to adapt while maintaining quality in dynamic environments.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- TalkBack and mobile accessibility experience is considered a plus.
