GovCIO is currently hiring for Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Connected Care (OCC) as it refreshes and expands telehealth equipment at VA medical centers, clinics, and other sites across the country. This position will be fully remote.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Connected Care (OCC) as it refreshes and expands telehealth equipment at VA medical centers, clinics, and other sites across the country. You'll be the day-to-day link between OCC, VISN Telehealth Program Managers, and field staff, keeping equipment requests, delivery schedules, and site communications on track.

This is a good fit for someone early in their PM career who already knows how the VA works and wants to grow into larger program responsibilities.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate telehealth equipment requests with VA sites and VISNs for technology refresh, expansion and provider iPad ordering orders
  • Communicate delivery schedules to sites, track progress, and follow up to validate and finalize open orders
  • Answer field questions on installation, ordering, deployment, decommissioning, and 1:1 replacement of end-of-life equipment
  • Support recurring VISN Lead, FTC, and TCT calls, plus ad hoc Telehealth Technology office hours, and send out action items within two business days of each meeting
  • Build and present slide decks regularly
  • Handle incoming questions from field staff by phone, email, and Teams (order status, serial numbers, turn-ins, help desk tickets, vendor site visits)
  • Support the OCC loaned mobile device program, including a master tracking log, order and shipment tracking, and check that site requests meet OCC guidelines and order limits
  • Communicate equipment recalls to the field
  • Maintain the Telehealth Technology Repository Sites: post deadlines, FAQs, and reference docs, build checklists and trackers, and archive outdated material
  • Quality check data submitted by sites and follow up on gaps
  • Produce the Monthly Synchronous/Asynchronous Equipment Delivery Tracking Status Report and contribute to program dashboards

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-5 years of work experience (or commensurate experience in lieu of a degree)
  • 1 to 3 years of project coordination or project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to groups
  • Comfortable juggling many sites and deadlines at once
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to groups

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working at or supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Experience working with the VA
  • Experience managing technology acquisition and reporting
  • Telehealth or connected care experience, especially with VA Video Connect or OCC programs
  • Familiarity with VISN structure and field roles such as FTCs and TCTs
  • Experience with PowerBI, ServiceNow, or Maximo
  • Equipment deployment, logistics, or asset tracking background

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
