Neptune Technology Group · PMO

About the Role

The Manager, Project Support coordinates the day-to-day work of an assigned PMO team, keeping documentation, schedules, and meeting logistics on track. You'll train and onboard new team members and triage routine issues before they need to go further up the chain. You typically report to and receive mentorship from a Manager, PMO or Sr. Manager, PMO.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the day-to-day work assignments of your assigned PMO team.
  • Administer and maintain the project management tooling your team relies on.
  • Train and onboard new team members to the PMO standard.
  • Triage routine issues directly; escalate anything needing schedule, budget, or stakeholder authority.
  • Hire and appraise your direct reports; advise on pay reviews; partner with your Manager on any termination or performance improvement plan.
  • Model the documentation and meeting-hygiene standards you want your team to hold to.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, or program management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office).
  • Strong organizational skills with real attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional communication with both team members and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience training or onboarding new team members.
  • A track record of knowing what to resolve directly versus when to escalate.
