Job Description
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering enterprise IT projects within the pharmaceutical industry, including system implementations, commercial platform enhancements, legacy system migrations, and business transformation initiatives. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to business requirements while coordinating global stakeholders, managing risks, and driving successful adoption of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure.
- Manage system implementation and migration projects involving commercial, pricing, CPQ, order management, and related business applications.
- Coordinate project activities across business, IT, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation actions as required.
- Support ERP and CRM integration initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce-related projects.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, project governance meetings, and status reporting.
- Contribute to system consolidation, modernization, and business process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure project deliverables align with organizational standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering enterprise IT projects, system implementations, or legacy migration initiatives.
- Experience with CPQ, order management, pricing tools, or commercial systems implementation projects.
- Understanding of ERP and CRM platforms, including SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Experience supporting system consolidation, carve-out, TSA migration, or enterprise separation projects is an advantage.
- Experience working in global pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments.
- Strong project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across global and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
