Total Plastic Solutions, LLC (TPS) is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure, network systems, servers, hardware, software, cybersecurity environment, and IQMS DELMIAWorks ERP system.
This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of TPS’s technology infrastructure while providing responsive technical support to employees throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on IT professional who is comfortable troubleshooting day-to-day issues as well as taking ownership of network administration, system security, hardware and software configuration, user access, backups, ERP support, and infrastructure improvements.
Because TPS operates in a manufacturing environment supporting regulated industries, this position must also understand the importance of system reliability, data security, documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, application software, servers, and network systems.
- Administer and maintain the company’s Windows environment.
- Support and maintain the company’s IQMS DELMIAWorks ERP system, including system performance, connectivity, user access, troubleshooting, and coordination with the software provider when needed.
- Assist employees with IQMS DELMIAWorks system-related issues and ensure users have appropriate system permissions and access.
- Support system upgrades, patches, integrations, reporting tools, and infrastructure associated with IQMS DELMIAWorks.
- Work with departments throughout the organization to troubleshoot ERP-related system and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and related equipment.
- Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet and Cisco networking equipment and technologies.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity, reliability, and performance issues.
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, software, printer, workstation, and connectivity issues for employees.
- Provide timely and professional technical support to users across the organization.
- Create, maintain, and deactivate user accounts, system permissions, and access rights.
- Maintain network file systems, shared drives, storage systems, and related infrastructure.
- Set up, administer, and maintain Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and other secure remote-access technologies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot storage and network storage systems.
- Perform regular security monitoring, vulnerability reviews, security testing, and system updates.
- Protect company networks, systems, ERP data, and other information from unauthorized access through appropriate physical and technical security measures.
- Monitor and maintain firewalls, endpoint security, access controls, and other cybersecurity safeguards.
- Maintain reliable data backup and recovery processes, including backups of critical ERP and business systems.
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Evaluate existing IT systems and recommend improvements to increase reliability, security, efficiency, and performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, equipment, systems, user access, procedures, and IT-related changes.
- Coordinate with outside technology vendors, IQMS/DELMIAWorks support, and other service providers when necessary.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, employee, customer, financial, ERP, and system information.
- Support IT needs throughout the manufacturing and office environments.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, ERP initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
- Understand and apply applicable requirements of ISO 13485 and AS9100 to assigned responsibilities.
- Follow applicable ISO requirements and company procedures to support and continually improve the Quality Management System.
- Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related technology field
- 5–10 years of network administration, systems administration, or comparable hands-on IT experience
- Experience supporting IQMS DELMIAWorks or another manufacturing ERP system strongly preferred.
- CompTIA Network+ certification
- Additional Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, cybersecurity, database, or related IT certifications are a plus.

Working Environment
This position works in both office and manufacturing environments and requires the ability to move throughout the facility to install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot IT and networking equipment.
The position requires regular use of computers and standard office equipment and may require lifting and carrying computers, network equipment, packages, and other IT-related items.
This is an on-site position and is not eligible for telework.
