AI / Cloud Architect (m/w/d) – EMEA
Location: EMEA Headquarters, Poing near Munich, Germany
We are looking for an experienced AI / Cloud Architect (m/w/d) to help shape our enterprise data and AI landscape across the EMEA organization. In this senior individual contributor role, you will identify and evaluate AI-powered automation opportunities, define data product strategies, and establish governance frameworks that enable responsible, scalable, and value-driven AI adoption.
You will act as a bridge between business, data, AI, and technology—turning complex business challenges into scalable solutions and ensuring that AI initiatives deliver measurable business value.
Your Responsibilities
- Systematically identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI-driven automation use cases across our EMEA organization.
- Localize and adapt global AI products and solutions developed by our internal AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) to meet regional business requirements.
- Conduct structured feasibility assessments, including ROI modeling, data availability assessments, risk analysis, and build-vs-buy evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with business domain owners, product teams, data engineers, and technology stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
- Track, measure, and report on the business value and realized benefits of deployed AI initiatives.
- Support the complete lifecycle of strategic data products, from initial design and development through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with data engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing data pipelines supporting analytics and machine learning workloads.
- Promote and establish a Data-as-a-Product mindset across business units.
- Contribute to the development of AI and data governance frameworks, ensuring responsible, secure, and sustainable adoption of AI technologies.
- Help shape the future cloud, data, and AI architecture across the EMEA organization.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable qualification; equivalent professional experience is also welcome.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data architectures and enterprise technology landscapes.
- Strong business-case mindset with experience in ROI analysis, prioritization, business value assessment, and value tracking.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in data, compute, and networking services.
- Experience designing hybrid network architectures and cloud landing zones, combined with a solid understanding of underlying network technologies.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based automation, generative AI, or AI platforms.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and architectures.
- Ability to connect strategic business requirements with practical, scalable technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to evaluating complex challenges.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
