The company designs, installs, maintains, and monitors integrated security systems, including CCTV surveillance, intruder alarms, access control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, site security solutions, barriers, turnstiles, and remote monitoring services.

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

  • Access Control
  • Video Surveillance
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Fire Alarms

Entry Requirements

  • Able to pass an enhanced DBS
  • 18+ due to site restrictions
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Ideally have GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C or above
  • Ideally live locally to the office
  • Previous experience in Electrical Installation or electrical knowledge is beneficial
  • Willingness to work away regularly

Training to be Provided

This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Doncaster centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

  • Complete a wide range of tasks and projects
  • Build evidence from your job to support your learning
  • Sit annual assessments at the centre
