Job Description

Java Developer

Responsibilities 

 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient solutions. 

• Can work within an Agile team to ensure that all key technical requirements are identified, estimated, designed, implemented, and tested. 

• Understands business needs and priorities and provides thought leadership on potential solutions and the opportunities for technology to create positive impact on the business. 

• Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that are coupled with strong communication, anticipates issues, and deals with them proactively. 

• Is team oriented, highly collaborative, works effectively to build strong long-term partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across a variety of business and IT functions. 

• Self-sufficient and shows ability to lead, given the opportunity. 

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Strong knowledge of Java programming language 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Experience with XML , XSD , Html 

• Familiarity with database concepts ,MySQL , DB2  

• Experience with test-driven deployment practices (Good to have). 

• Familiarity with Scripting like  Shell, Python  

• Familiarity with Eclipse , IntelliJ , Jenkins , Maven , Graddle , SVN , perforce , Git , Oracle . 

• Linux and Windows OS,Waterfall, Scrum methodologies

Bachelors - Computer Engineering, Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Information Technology, Masters - Software Engineering

Certifications

Oracle Certified Java Associate - OracleOracle
