Job Description

Are you passionate about building software and high-performance web applications? Can you develop within a complex system? And are you experienced with React? If so, then you might be our next Senior Software Engineer at JYSK, where you'll take technical ownership and create intuitive and outstanding solutions for our store employees to help them even more with their everyday tasks.

You will be working in a cross functional agile scrum team that consist of frontend and backend engineers, testers, UX specialists, a Product Owner, and an IT Delivery Lead. WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Develop and maintain JYSK’s store web applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Work closely with team members and stakeholders to build seamless user experiences.
  • Take ownership of existing applications and drive continuous improvements.
  • Stay updated on latest technologies and propose new ideas for our platforms.
  • Mentor and collaborate with teammates to share knowledge and grow together.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

  • At least 5 years of professional work experience with React, TypeScript and Next.js or Tanstack.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with scalable web applications and performance optimization.
  • Can break down and priorities large and complex features into smaller tasks. 
  • A proactive approach to improving solutions and challenging the status quo.
  • Is eager to stay up to date with latest technologies and motivated to continuously learn new things.
