I’m partnered with a leading supply chain business who are seeking a Graduate Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team based near Leeds.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, analytical and committed individual to join a forward-thinking organisation operating at the intersection of technology, data and supply chain solutions.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior finance and commercial stakeholders while developing their career within a high-growth environment.
Ideally, they are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background and demonstrated consistency. You may have experience working within a similar role on a placement year or post-graduation, although strong graduates with relevant analytical experience will also be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager with financial and commercial analysis
- Producing monthly reporting and management information
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conducting commercial analysis, identifying trends and supporting pricing analysis
- Assessing business performance and carrying out detailed variance analysis
- Analysing large datasets to identify commercial opportunities, trends and discrepancies
- Working with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance
- Supporting process improvements across finance and reporting
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline – Maths, Finance, Economics, Physics or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to explain complex financial and commercial information concisely
- Excellent Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets
- Good understanding of financial processes and an interest in driving process improvements
- Excellent attention to detail and a commercially minded approach
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business
- A genuine desire to attain a professional Finance qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA
