Samsung Israel Research Center
Samsung Israel Research Center (SIRC) is an innovation hub for developing next-generation imaging technologies. As part of the Samsung Semiconductor business, our team focuses on creating cutting-edge computer vision and image signal processing algorithms and HW accelerators.
Our Work
We design and productize deep learning based innovative solutions for computer vision and image processing problems which have a direct impact on real-world products used by millions worldwide. Our Algorithms teams closely collaborates HW and SW engineers to develop high-impact projects that showcase creativity, passion, and technical expertise.
The Office
Our team is located in Midtown Tel Aviv. At least three days per week in the office.
What will you do?
Our algorithms team focuses on creating algorithmic infrastructure that improves and accelerates neural networks solutions for Samsung flagship products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop algorithms for network pruning and quantization
- Develop dynamic/conditional computing (input-dependent) neural networks algorithms
- Develop HW-aware neural networks compression and network architecture search (NAS) algorithms
- Collaborate closely with HW and SW architects to analyze solutions and identify execution weaknesses and opportunities
- Write academic papers
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, etc.
- Experience in machine learning and neural networks
- Experience with network optimization algorithms (great advantage)
- Computer Vision and image processing experience (advantage)
- Familiarity with HW development (advantage)
- Excellent coding skills! (a must)
- Good English, including technical writing
- Excellent self-learning capabilities and team collaboration skills
