About the role :
We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team and help revolutionise automotive experiences. As part of the Product Team you'll be designing for two distinct but connected audiences. Focusing across both B2B and B2C means you'll tackle diverse design challenges, from consumer-facing discovery journeys to internal tools, all while working collaboratively with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
You'll own the entire design process - from conducting user research and defining problems to crafting beautiful, functional solutions that make a real difference. If you thrive on variety, love solving complex problems, and want to leave your mark on an industry ripe for innovation, this could be the perfect opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- You'll work collaboratively with product, engineering and marketing teams to design products, features & assets across the entire product suite, turning complex challenges into beautifully simple solutions that truly solve customer needs with a high level of craft and attention to detail
- Help define the design library across our products; enhancing pattern libraries, components and style guides, updating as we evolve
- Build product knowledge by speaking to internal experts, monitor feedback channels, speak with users, review usage and data.
- You'll curate and design web pages that balance user experience with SEO best practices, ensuring content is discoverable while maintaining design integrity and usability
- Leverage data-driven insights and A/B testing methodologies to identify optimisation opportunities and validate UI enhancements. You will craft final, production-ready UI designs and assets designed to move key performance metrics.
What you’ll need:
- Outstanding portfolio of work that shows strong user-centered and visual design capabilities across a range of different projects
- Present and articulate concepts in a clear and focused way that drives productive discussion, and drives work forward
- Expertise in design principles related to branding, marketing, and understanding of UX design, information hierarchy, user-flow, and typography
- Design Process: Good understanding of information architecture, workflows, concept development and interaction design whilst collaborating with leadership and engineering teams to deliver value to our customers and users
- Appreciation for the User: Deeply understand and design for the needs of the user
- Designing for desktop and mobile across B2C & B2B journeys.
- An understanding of visual design theory (e.g., typography, colour theory, composition, iconography, etc.) and analog visual communication skills (e.g., sketching)
- Advanced prototyping skills and experience using Figma and AI tools
- Experience in translating user research and usability test findings into iterative product solutions
What we’ll give you:
- Compensation: We offer a competitive salary + performance-based bonus
- Holidays: We want you to relax, you’ll have 28 days off (plus bank holidays) throughout the year. We also give you an extra day off to enjoy your birthday!
- Benefits + Perks: With private medical insurance, learning and development opportunities and mental health support, we’ll give you the extra boost.
- Hybrid Working: We have a flexible working culture here at Drive. With hybrid working in our offices in Holborn (London) and working from home days.
- Feedback: You'll be joining more than just another scale up - our team are at the heart of everything we do; here we don’t leave things unsaid, we encourage honest feedback.
- A Challenge: Fast-paced but not fraught. So we need you to keep up, push back and question where you see fit.
- Fun: We provide a fully stocked kitchen and bar, an awesome office environment and epic social.
If you’re ready to work with a creative, high-performing group of people we want to hear from you.
