Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary
Reports To: Chief of Staff
Overview
Peregrine Health is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives across the organization. The Project Manager will own the integrated project plan, operating cadence, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting required to keep priority work on track.
Initiatives will span company-wide priorities, including market launches, multi-site rollouts, partner programs, and executive initiatives.
The Project Manager owns the coordination and execution of the work, not the underlying functions themselves. Growth, Operations, Recruiting, Implementation, Finance, and Management remain with the respective functional leaders. This role ensures that work across those teams is clearly defined, assigned, sequenced, tracked, and completed.
Key Responsibilities
Program and Launch Execution
• Build and manage the integrated project plan for multi-partner and multi-site programs.
• Coordinate the sequencing of launch activities across partner organizations and sites.
• Maintain visibility across compliance, partner growth, operations, recruiting, and all other workstreams.
• Coordinate dependencies across launches.
• Support transitions between funding models as programs move from launch to steady state.
• Coordinate project activity in a way that minimizes disruption to existing market operations.
Project Management
• Develop and maintain project plans for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Own the project system of record, including workstreams, milestones, owners, due dates, dependencies, and status.
• Ensure project information is current, accurate, and consistently used by project participants.
• Establish clear project scope, deliverables, timelines, and accountability.
• Track progress against milestones and follow up on outstanding actions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate work across functional teams, including Growth, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Recruiting, Product, and Marketing.
• Identify and manage dependencies between teams and workstreams.
• Ensure handoffs between teams are clearly defined and completed.
• Escalate unresolved issues, missed commitments, and resource constraints when appropriate.
• Maintain visibility into work without assuming ownership of functional execution.
Meeting and Operating Cadence
• Establish and manage the meeting cadence required for each project.
• Lead project standups, status meetings, and working sessions.
• Prepare agendas and ensure meetings result in clear decisions, owners, actions, and due dates.
• Maintain project documentation and decision records.
• Ensure meetings and project discussions are grounded in the project plan and system of record.
Risk and Dependency Management
• Maintain visibility into project risks, dependencies, blockers, and decisions.
• Identify issues early and work with appropriate leaders to establish mitigation plans.
• Escalate risks that may affect timing, scope, cost, or project outcomes.
• Track open decisions and ensure they are resolved by the appropriate owner.
Executive Reporting
• Provide concise weekly project updates to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Report progress against key milestones, upcoming priorities, risks, blockers, and decisions required.
• Maintain a consistent reporting format across major company initiatives.
• Provide project data and status information needed for leadership planning and decision-making.
Project Operations
• Develop repeatable project management standards, templates, and reporting practices.
• Improve adoption and consistency of Asana for cross-functional company initiatives.
• Establish project management practices that can be applied to future market launches, implementations, and executive initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify project processes and improve accountability and visibility.
Qualifications
Required
• Five or more years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing project plans and systems in a project management platform.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects through completion.
• Strong meeting facilitation skills, including the ability to drive decisions, assign actions, and maintain accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate work across functions without direct authority over project participants.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, clinical leaders, operational leaders, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Ability to travel as required.
Preferred
• Experience in healthcare, government, or multi-site operations.
• Experience managing grant-funded programs or initiatives.
• Experience establishing or improving project management processes within a growing organization.
Key Performance Indicators
Success in this role will be measured against project delivery, execution discipline, and the effectiveness of the project management practices established across the organization. Initial measures will include:
• Percentage of project milestones completed on time.
• Timely identification and escalation of project risks and dependencies.
• Completion of assigned actions and decisions within established timelines.
• Successful completion of program and market launch milestones.
• Adoption of standardized project management practices across future company-level initiatives.
