We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead enterprise data, cloud, and technology transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with proven experience managing complex cloud-based projects, customer engagements, cross-functional engineering teams, and enterprise technology delivery.

The role requires someone who can work effectively with customers, business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, product, and leadership teams to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and successfully drive initiatives from planning through implementation and production.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data, cloud, and technology transformation projects.
  • Manage project strategy, scope, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, product, data, cloud, and business teams to drive technical initiatives.
  • Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives involving AWS and enterprise data platforms.
  • Work closely with technical leads and architects to define solutions, technical dependencies, implementation plans, and delivery milestones.
  • Manage cross-functional and distributed engineering teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Establish project governance, KPIs, SLAs, status reporting, risk management, and executive communications.
  • Drive Agile delivery through planning, prioritization, sprint execution, dependency management, and release coordination.
  • Identify and proactively resolve technical, operational, resource, and delivery risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements and customer needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
  • Oversee production readiness, operational excellence, incident management, and continuous improvement.
  • Support data-driven decision-making using analytics, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships and coordinate deliverables across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with data engineering, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, or enterprise data platforms.
  • 5+ years experience in technical project management, technical program management, software engineering leadership, or technology delivery.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise technology projects from strategy through implementation.
  • Strong technical understanding of AWS, cloud architecture, data platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architectures.

  • Experience managing engineering and technical teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery practices.
  • Experience with project planning, resource management, dependency tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
