Full description
The Technology Product Manager will play a pivotal role in our agile development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and facilitate the successful delivery of business solutions. You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into actionable user stories and requirement documents. Additionally, you will take on the role of a servant leader, overseeing the activities of the team and coordinating with developers or external partners to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders, including business users, product owners, and research & design team to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Analysis and Documentation: Analyze gathered requirements and document them in a clear and concise manner. Create user stories, functional specifications, and requirement documents to guide the development team.
- Agile Development: Collaborate with a cross-functional squad of developers, designers, testers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute tasks within the agile framework.
- Servant Leadership: Lead the squad in their day-to-day activities, provide guidance, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team; orchestrate and ensure all ceremonies of a squad in most effective manner, while ensuring the requirements are timely delivered.
- Project Planning: Assist in project planning, estimating, and defining project scope in collaboration with the project manager and product owner.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and quality standards. Conduct testing, participate in reviews, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
- Vendor/Partner Coordination: Collaborate with external partners or vendors as required, ensuring a clear understanding of the project requirements and timely delivery of their contributions.
- Documentation Maintenance: Keep documentation up-to-date, ensuring that changes in requirements or project scope are accurately captured.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Technology Product Manager, Business Analyst, IT Business Partner or in a similar role within an IT or software development environment, banks or FinTech.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Proficient in creating user stories, functional specifications, and requirement documents.
- Ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional squad to achieve project goals.
- Familiarity with project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
- 6 -10 years of experience.
