As a Devops engineer, you’ll get a possibility to become part of a team that is end-2-end responsible for delivery and operations of IT systems and is involved in all phases of their lifecycle, starting from analysis, design, through development, quality assurance up to operational support.

DevOps Engineers play an important part in our agile teams and under the role we expect a combination of development, technical design, testing and support skills. They need to understand and implement requirements based on best technical solution, consider reuse of the developed code, are also responsible for technical testing of the code and need to use automation wherever possible. DevOps Engineers need to be team players who actively share their knowledge in the team and bring in their experiences as well as improvement ideas to increase quality and further develop the systems. They also solve incidents based on tickets, establish proper monitoring of the system and implement change requests.

Application Engineering

• Support and optimize Java-based applications.
• Experience in Linux DB, OpenShift and Python are required.
• Collaborate with development teams on application modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance on performance optimization and scalability.

Platform & Operations

• Support and maintain applications across openshift, containerized, and cloud environments.
• Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and system observability.
• Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Create and maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, backup, disaster recovery, and vulnerability management requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving.

Agile Delivery

• Work effectively within Agile/SCRUM teams to deliver business value.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to improve delivery quality, speed, and reliability.

AI & Automation

• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation in software delivery and operations.
• Evaluate and adopt modern tools that enhance development, testing, monitoring, and support processes.
• Drive productivity improvements through AI-powered engineering solutions and best practices.
• Explore emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that deliver business value.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior engineers and DevOps practitioners.
• Coach project teams on DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, testing, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and modernization initiatives.

  Great Team Hi, my name is Nancy Ling and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2020, when I took a role as Project Manager in the GO2 team. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Senior Project Manager role. In 2025, I moved to a management role, being Team/Solution Manager.
