About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager whose first accountability is protecting the delivery: keeping committed work on track, shielding teams from scope creep and distraction, and ensuring that risks are surfaced and mitigated before they affect the delivery timing. This is not simply a scrum master role. It is a delivery-first hybrid role that combines strategic delivery oversight with agile facilitation, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance stakeholder management with team coaching.

You will serve as the connective tissue between product, design, and engineering, ensuring teams are successfully shipping software and solving the right problems. You will create the conditions for high-performing, mission-driven teams where outcome over output and continuous learning are privileged. Even better (but not required) if you bring hands-on technical experience as a former engineer or technical analyst so that you can understand the teams at an intrinsic level and you can use your technical perspectives to help decompose technical work for sprint and program increment planning in a way that accounts for dependencies and risk.

You will support 3-4 globally distributed scrum teams. These include teams developing Accuris' next-generation product offering that supports model-based systems engineering (MBSE), requirements management, and interoperability between PLM and ALM systems, as well as a platform engineering team that creates the infrastructure and services that empower development teams to release code.

Delivery Manager Responsibilities:

  • Protect the delivery: defend sprint and program increment commitments against scope creep, unplanned work, and competing priorities; escalate early when commitments are at risk; find solutions and resolutions to the risks
  • Understand and be accountable to delivery roadmaps (at the program increment and fiscal year levels) and ensure alignment with product and business priorities
  • Lead and organize planning week to create a delivery plan for the program increment: own the preparation, agenda, logistics, and facilitation of program increment planning week. Ensure backlogs are refined and estimated in advance, dependencies and capacity are visible, teams leave with committed and achievable plans, and outcomes are communicated to stakeholders
  • Align expectations between teams and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals and timelines
  • Track and manage delivery milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple teams, and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates on delivery and release progress, risks, and mitigation plans to development teams, operations teams, and management
  • Fill the gaps: take ownership of unassigned or ambiguous work that the delivery needs - chasing unowned dependencies, clarifying missing requirements or acceptance criteria, and pick up coordination that falls between roles - so nothing critical slips through the cracks
  • Harness AI to expedite your work: use AI tools to automate or accelerate administrative tasks, status reports, meeting notes, dashboard updates, backlog hygiene. Leverage AI to free up your time to drive the delivery itself
  • Identify and address delivery bottlenecks, resource constraints, and skill gaps, and drive solutions to these problems
  • Ensure transparency through dashboards, reports, and visual management tools
  • Lead initiatives to improve delivery processes, tools, and practices
  • Help teams identify and remove impediments, improve flow, and continuously optimize their processes using Agile principles
  • Be able to communicate key details about deliverables to leaders within Accuris businesses
  • Track and manage the team's capitalization and utilization rates

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

  • Coach and empower 3-4 globally distributed scrum teams, ensuring Agile practices are seamlessly implemented from project conception to delivery
  • Adapt ceremonies, communication, and collaboration practices to work effectively across global time zones, keeping distributed team members equally engaged and informed
  • Partner with engineers and product owners to decompose technical initiatives (e.g., platform work, integrations, infrastructure) into clear, testable, right-sized user stories with well-formed acceptance criteria, and to sequence that work sensibly given technical dependencies
  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives across your teams
  • Collect and monitor team performance data to foster learning and improvement, and use these data to drive decisions, improve delivery processes, and communicate outcomes
  • Own and resolve team blockers
  • Report on in-progress sprints to technical leads and product stakeholders
  • Collaborate with scrum teams to ensure prioritized work is groomed, planned, and executed appropriately
  • Work with other scrum masters, release train engineering, and product stakeholders to ensure alignment on dependencies
  • Facilitate and/or participate in ART events such as program increment planning
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between development, QA, product, and other relevant teams throughout the release lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of combined Delivery Manager / Scrum Master / Technical Project Management experience, including direct accountability for delivery outcomes
  • Enough technical knowledge to help teams sequence their work: understanding which pieces depend on which, what must be built or proven first, and how to sequence user stories to reduce risk and deliver value earlier
  • Experience in delivery management: assessing whether delivery plans are tracking against team velocity and progress, identifying risks to deliveries, and driving mitigation
  • Robust track record of supporting scrum teams to build and release new products from conception to production at an enterprise organization
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the Agile SDLC and release management processes
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with aptitude to learn and make an impact quickly
  • Ability to foster change, motivate others, and manage complex and diverse projects
  • Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and internal partners
  • Experience working with Agile development tracking tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile scrum certification (CSM or equivalent)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience with platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure teams
  • Hands-on technical background: prior experience as a software engineer, QA engineer, technical business analyst, or equivalent technical role
  • Demonstrated ability to help teams decompose technical epics and features into reasonable user stories
