Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join Europe's Favourite Airline Group.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and commercially astute individual who has excellent financial analysis skills to join our Commercial Performance team. The successful candidate will be integral to our growth plans as they continually review and optimise our network performance ensuring that our most profitable routes are prioritised allowing us to grow to over 4000 flights per day.

The Commercial Performance Team is a small team with high value and impact to the overall business You will have exposure to all levels and senior Management to make a major contribution in helping us achieve our growth target of 300m passengers by 2034.

Supporting the senior commercial team, the successful candidate will:

  • Continually analyse and identify new opportunities to improve financial performance, including detailed modelling of potential benefits and costs.
  • Responsible for performance improvement projects, including developing and maintaining analytical models and effectively communicating the results .
  • Propose and evaluate new business / route opportunities including forecast profitability and break-even analysis for new routes.
  • Prepare competitor and market analysis reports for the senior commercial team.
  • Assist in preparing detailed monthly management reports including route profitability, which form the basis for all capacity allocation decisions.
  • Analyse and challenge proposed new airport deals.

Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years experience in an accounting, commercial, financial or analytical role
  • Candidates who hold a ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent will be highly regarded
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to effectively communicate financial data and insights
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
