What You'll Be Doing :

A successful candidate for this role will apply software testing and engineering principles to validate the quality, functionality, and reliability of web applications. The primary objective is to design, execute, and automate test cases to identify defects early in the development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality software is delivered to end users

Responsibilities :

· Execute manual and automated test cases to validate product functionality, performance, and quality.

· Create, maintain, and execute test scripts for system, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

· Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.

· Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts using Python and Selenium.

· Perform API and front-end testing across different environments.

· Support post-release validation to ensure software is functioning as expected.

· Contribute to improving test processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

· Maintain accurate test documentation, test results, and defect reports.

· Troubleshoot issues during testing and provide timely feedback to the development team

Requirements

Mandatory

• 2-4 years of experience in software quality

assurance for web applications

• Hands-on experience with

Python and Selenium.

• Good understanding of

software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Experience with both manual

and automated testing.

• Knowledge of front-end and

API testing techniques.

• Ability to create, maintain,

and execute automated test scripts.

• Experience using defect

tracking and test management tools.

• Strong analytical and

problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal

communication skills.

• Ability to work

independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team

Bonus Points:

• Basic understanding of CI/CD

pipelines and test automation integration.

• Experience testing eCommerce

applications, particularly those using Stripe as a payment gateway.

• Familiarity with Robot

Framework.]

• Exposure to performance or

load testing tools is an advantage.
